Comsec Technology Solutions, in partnership with leading UPS manufacturer Gamatronic and EverExceed, renowned for its battery power bank and solar solutions, have set up a one-stop shop to address energy challenges facing businesses in Ghana.
Located at Adabraka, a suburb of Accra, the ultra-modern service centre is manned by Ghanaian engineers trained in Israel to provide after-sales services to Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and large corporate institutions operating in the country who are facing energy challenges.
Boaz Alon, Sales Director of Comsec Technology Solutions, who spoke to journalists in Accra on the sidelines of a seminar and product exhibition recently, urged SMEs to take advantage of Comsec’s backup power systems, as well as renewable energy solutions to drastically cut their operational costs.
Even though government has announced a cessation of the spontaneous power outages that crippled most businesses in Ghana in recent times, intermittent power cuts are bound to happen with grim effects for SMEs.
It is in line with this that Mr Alon advised SMEs to adopt cheaper but highly efficient alternatives to save them unplanned costs.
He said currently the support systems provided by other vendors of backpower systems such as inverters and UPS, among others, were not fully responsive, as some of these faulty gadgets or components within them are often sent abroad for repairs.
Such poor responsiveness, he said, contributed to the downtime of business.
Mr Alon said the partnership with the two companies offers businesses the opportunity to have their energy needs met timely in a cost-efficient manner.
Mr Alon said the energy solution being offered by the partnership was sufficient to allow businesses, as well as individuals, who were seeking efficient energy backup solutions to save up to 30 percent of what they would have spent on power.
He added that Comsec also provides flexible payment plans for customers, who are unable to provide outright payment.
The day’s event was attended by a cross-section of business owners and representatives from both public and private sector organizations.
Participants were educated on how the solutions of Gamatronic and EverExceed operate.
